Our rosé is made from a blend of techniques and varietals. The color comes from a saignée of our Chambourcin production where the juice is bled from the main fermentation to be then treated like a white wine. We also included some of our Muscadine to help freshen the acidity and add to the strawberry and raspberry flavors while keeping the rosy, floral aromas.
The very first wine ever produced by Tempest Cellars! A fruitier “dry” white wine made of Seyval Blanc with a palate of dried stone fruits and an almondine finish.
Muscadine is the native grape of North Carolina, so of course we had to pay homage with one of our own. This delightfully sweet yet refreshing white muscadine strikes that perfect balance to be enjoyed all year long.
